We recently found out that we have orders moving us to Fort Benning, GA this summer. I'm super excited! It's a pretty big post and Columbus has almost everything you could want and lots of resources for Andrew.
We decided to use our spring break to head down there and check out the area. We stayed with some dear friends and had a blast catching up. We got to explore the city as well as the post, and Geoff was able to meet up with some of the people he will be working with. We also got to meet the Brigade commander and his wife at their house.
We also did some house hunting. We decided right away we weren't going to live on post because we would get a much smaller house. So we looked in North Columbus and found a house we really like. It's in a new subdivision and we put in an offer on it before we left.
By the time we got home, we had cover 2500 miles, and were definitely ready to be home again! This is a layout of the house we put an offer on. Downstairs on the left, and upstaris on the right.
